2009 Summer Cruise

To Chatham Massachusetts

The Cruise Committee has planned an exciting 2 week summer cruise to Chatham, MA. The dates for this trip are: July 4th to July 19th 2009.

The ports ports of call for our 2009 trip are: Stonington, Dutch Harbor, New Bedford, Quissett, Chatham, Oak Bluffs, , Cuttyhunk and Block Island.

(Registration is now closed)

2009 Cruise Update

  • So far eleven boats have signed-up for the full cruise and one boat for part of the cruise. Four people will be joining the group in Chatham by car.

  • There has been no change in the itinerary previously published. We are still looking for a port host for Block Island.

  • If you are intending to come cruising with us please fill out the "registration form" form as soon as possible.

  • Later in January details on port mooring/anchor/dock information, including where reservations will have to be made, will be put on the website.

  • We have 20 moorings reserved in New Bedford. The mooring company’s website indicates that the cost last year was $24/night.

  • In Oak Bluffs the moorings are first-come first-served but dock space can be reserved; the reservation form will be available on their website January 31st and dock reservations may be made after February 1st.

  • In addition to the mooring/anchor/dock information later in the month I will also be providing a series of links to the ports and marinas that we will be visiting.

Attached is the first part of the cruise activities. I have kept this fairly brief as the details will be filled in when the cruise brochure is introduced. I have covered most ports, this is a work in progress
