Memorial Day Weekend - May 29th -31st

The 5th annual Memorial Day Weekend Rendezvous hosted by Jim Meador & Melissa Patterson-Meador (Odyssey) at the Guilford Yacht Club will be held on Saturday May 29th rd to Monday May 31st, 2010.


Agenda

Saturday

  • Arrive in Guilford. High Tide @ 12:53 p.m., contact John Febbraio (203 415-3427) for reservations we have a special transient rate of $2.75 per foot.

  • 5:00 p.m. Cocktail Party in the Lounge BYOB and a light hors d'oeurve

  • 7:00 p.m. Dinner @ Café Allegre $32 per person tip and gratuity included. Includes 1 glass of wine, salad, choice of Chicken Marsala, Sole Florentine or Veal Parmigiana, dessert, coffee/tea. I need people to let me know if they are coming to the dinner out. I need to give a headcount to the Café on May 21st . They can decide on their entrée when we get to the restaurant.

Sunday

  • 5:00 p.m. BBQ under the tent. Coals and Grills provided. Bring your own item to BBQ and a dish (salad, side or dessert) to share. BYOB


Monday

  • 8:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast and Adieus Low Tide @ 8:04 a.m. High Tide @ 2:21 p.m.

Travel Details!

By Ship:

Call the dock master John Febbraio at 203-415-3427 to reserve a slip. Fleet 5 members will receive a special transient rate of $2.75 per foot per night including water, electricity and unlimited access to all the amenities of the club. There are a limited number of slips available so reservations will be on a first come first serve basis.

The dock staff will be available from 8:00 am-7:00 pm to assist you. By boat, the Guilford Yacht Club is located on the West River N41-16'15" W72-40' 70" directly across from Faulkner's Island. Follow the channel markers.

Please exercise caution when navigating the entrance channel to the GYC. Docking assignments will be given to you by hailing VHF channel 71 as you enter the West River.

By Land:

If you are driving, take exit 58 from I-95 and turn south onto Rt. 77. Cross Rt. 1 and proceed to the end of the road at the Guilford Town Green. Make a right onto Broad St. and an immediate left onto Whitfield St. The Yacht Club is located about one mile on the right side at 379 Whitfield St.
