Neck Harbor of Shelter
Island on Friday afternoon August 20th to Sunday morning August
22nd.

West Neck Harbor is on Shelter Island's
south side, opposite Noyack Bay and Shelter Island Sound. It is
a protected, peaceful spot to drop anchor. There is a bar at the
entrance; keep close to the seaward edge of the gravel point.
The Special Anchorage is just inside the harbor to the south.
There is shoaling at Red Nun "2" at the entrance, and
Embassy Guides recommend that you enter 'on a rising tide, and
come in very carefully.
There is a marina with berths, fuel,water,and repair services
with a 6ft.channel: The Island Boatyard, 631-749-3333.
