Fleet 5 Membership Officers Search For Sale Projects Forum Ship's Store

Welcome!

Fleet 5 is an energetic group of Catalina 36 owners. We have several non-Catalina owners who participate as associate members. Each member of our fleet thrives on the camaraderie of the sailing lifestyle. We are dedicated cruisers, occasional racers, handymen and handywomen. Members of Fleet 5 are ready to lend advice and a hand with any boat topic. We share the knowledge of our improvements and our repairs.

Fleet 5 is affiliated with the Catalina 36 International Association and supports all of its activities. We believe that sailing associations such as our Fleet and the various international associations enhance the sailing experience through shared experiences and the free exchange of ideas. Organizations such as Fleet 5, aside from their social and practical value, help us communicate with the larger sailing community. This opens us to sailors all over the world and with this comes the sharing of knowledge, the communication of sailing experiences, voyages and stories.

We welcome all sailors in the Long Island area as members. All we ask is a love of sailing and a desire to share adventures with like-minded people. (A good hors d'oeuvres cook book is a plus, as we are equally well known for our ability to "socialize")

For details on the benefits of membership beyond being part of a great group check out our brochure.

Our Forum
I have launched a new forum which gives us many advantages. You will need to register to gain access, please look in your email for directions. Forums allow you to post your views, ask questions and exchange information with others in our Fleet. Planning a trip? Bought a new toy? Upgrading your boat? Looking for advice? This is the place, forums can be a terrific source of information and will keep us all connected better than email and it is much more fun. Let's use this tool in this New Year.
